Can't say enough good things about this place. The house was beautiful and immaculate and equipped with anything you may need. The lake was perfect and it was a great spot to visit some of the Dells attractions but we also spent some of the time just hanging out at the lake. As stated in the description, it's quite a few stairs down to the lake but it's totally worth it to swim in the beautiful, warm, clear lake. We will definitely try to stay here again.
We loved our stay at August Inn! The home is spacious, clean, beautifully furnished, thoughtfully equipped for renters, and very comfortable. We vacationed as two families and the layout was perfect to give adults and kids separate spaces. There was plenty of comfortable seating in each room for our group of 8. We cooked a lot of meals and the kitchen is well equipped with everything you could need. We really appreciated the large number of towels available and stocking of all essentials like soap, shampoo, dishwashing supplies, etc. The screened-in porch was our favorite space to hang out! Robert was very responsive and clear with instructions.
This weekend I took my wife to August Inn to enjoy her 30th birthday. We had the most amazing stay at the cabin with a small group of close friends and cannot recommend it enough. The views were absolutely gorgeous, truly one of those places where you just stop and take it all in. The home itself was beautiful, thoughtfully designed, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail made it feel both luxurious and cozy, the perfect place to relax and unwind. We spent the whole weekend soaking in the scenery and enjoying how peaceful and special the space felt. This is the kind of place you immediately start planning a return trip to. If you’re considering booking here, do it. You won’t be disappointed.
To describe this place as perfect would be an understatement. It was aesthetically beautiful and clean in addition to offering a bathroom for each family, toys for the kiddos, ample space to all gather together and a hot tub overlooking the most peaceful lake. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to get together and hope to come again soon.
